#19. See a Packer game & Tailgate (11/22/09)

For my 23rd birthday Jon & I got tickets to see the Packers play the 49ers at Lambeau! I never was a huge packer fan until we went to Green Bay last year for Jon to apply for the police department. We took the tour of the stadium and hall of fame. After that, I was hooked! We got really good seats (End zone, row 8!) and had a great time! It would have been better had we taken the time to learn about our grill but there is always next season!

Our poor excuse for a grill. The brats didn't even come close to being cooked!

Thanks Babe!!

All decked out with my Packer t-shirt, packer pj's, and my mom's packer scarf

I couldn't believe how close I was to Aaron Rodgers (#12)!!
They got the touchdown!

Nice butt Rodgers! :o)

# 17. See a Yankee Game (10/13/09)

While we were in Minnesota, my husband surprised me with tickets to the Yankee / Twin game. It was their last game of the playoffs and I was sooo excited to go. Jon knows how much I love the Yankees and I was really happy that he thought of that and got them! Our seats were super high up but I didn't care as long as we had fun and got to see the game. Oh, and the Yankees won the game and the World Series this year! :)
View from our seats!!
We were so high up that we were right next to the jumbo screen
Go Yankees!!
Out of nowhere, this guy jumps over the wall and onto the field and started running all around. It was hilarious! One of the rent-a-cops tried to grab him but he slid across the grass and the dude almost got away, but they pulled him off the wall when he tried to jump back over.

# 3. Mall of America (10/13/09)

We got married on September 5th 2009 and spent so much time and money on the wedding we didn't get to plan a great big honeymoon. So, we decided to have a mini-moon. We wanted to go somewhere different yet not too far away. Our first idea was Myrtle Beach but we didn't have that much time for vacation so we picked Mall of America. All I can say is WOW. This place was huge! We got a ton of shopping in and went to about 7 different restaurants. I loved the little amusment park inside. Overall it was a great trip and I wouldn't mind going back!

They had a charity walk one of the days we were there, and had a concert in the center. Another day they had a huge baby shower type expo!

MOA has an underground aquarium that we checked out. I couldn't believe I touched the crab!
Ok, so remember how I said they had a cute little amusement park? Well the rides actually scared the crap out of me! We did go on almost all of the rides except this big coaster with a huge drop. I felt dumb since there was a 9 year old that went on it and I would not!
I thought it was super cute the waitress made our ketchup into a smiley face at Johnny Rocket :o)
